Carlos Gonzalez returns to Rockies' bench on Monday night
Colorado Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez is not in Monday's lineup against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
What It Means:
This is the third time Gonzalez has been benched in the past four games and second in a row against a right-hander. He went 1-for-4 with a strikeout in Sunday's loss to the San Francisco Giants and is slashing just .167/.250/.278 through 10 contests in May. David Dahl will cover right field for Colorado against Mark Buehler and the Dodgers in tonight's series opener.
Gonzalez is averaging 7.6 FanDuel points in 31 games this season. numberFire's models project him to hit .254 with 11 homers and 42 RBI over the rest of the year.
