Chase Anderson (illness) to return to Brewers' rotation on Monday
Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Chase Anderson (illness) is expected to return to the rotation Monday for a start against the Arizona Diamondbacks, according to manager Craig Counsell said.
Anderson last pitched on May 6 before food poisoning forced him to the disabled list. The 30-year-old right-hander has twirled an impressive 3.97 ERA and 1.15 WHIP with 30 strikeouts and 16 walks across 45 1/3 innings this season.
Anderson is averaging 25.0 FanDuel points through eight starts this season. numberFire's models project him to throw a 4.34 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with 109 strikeouts and 40 walks in 122 1/3 innings over the remainder of the year.
