Brewers' Corey Knebel (hamstring) likely to be activated on Wednesday
Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Corey Knebel is likely to be activated from the disabled list on Wednesday, reports Adam McCalvy of MLB.com.
McCalvy reports that Knebel is at the park but won't be activated for tonight's game. He finished his rehab assignment up with three straight scoreless appearances at the Double-A level, following a hamstring strain suffered on April 5th. Before long, he should return to his closer's role in Milwaukee.
Having pitched just 2 2/3 innings in 2018, Knebel is projected for a 2-2 record, 17 saves and 3.76 ERA over the rest of the season.
