Tigers' Miguel Cabrera (hamstring) could require stint on disabled list
Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera may be placed on the disabled list after leaving Thursday's game with a strained hamstring.
While nothing is official yet, hamstrings are always tricky, so it would be surprising if Cabrera isn't placed on the DL. Catcher Grayson Greiner would be recalled in a corresponding move, which likely means John Hicks would continue to get starts at first base.
Cabrera is hitting .323/.407/.516 with 3 home runs and 21 RBIs over 108 plate appearances this season.
