Nationals' Brian Goodwin (wrist) expected to resume swinging soon
MLB.coms Jamal Collier reports Washington Nationals outfielder Brian Goodwin could start swinging again soon.
Goodwin had been shutdown from all baseball activities, including swinging, but it looks like he's working his way back in there. He could be ready around mid-May and, when he returns, would steal back playing time from Andrew Stevenson and Moises Sierra.
Goodwin is projected to tally 3 home runs, 9 RBI and 9 runs scored with a .238 average the rest of the season.
