Trayce Thompson replaces Nicky Delmonico (neck) for White Sox on Thursday
Chicago White Sox outfielder Trayce Thompson is starting on Thursday against the Kansas City Royals.
Nicky Delmonico was scratched due to neck stiffness, so Thompson will draw a third straight start in right field while batting eighth on Thursday versus Royals righty Jakob Junis. Leury Garcia will play left field after initially being in right.
Thompson is averaging 6.2 FanDuel points in four games for the White Sox since being acquired from the Oakland Athletics last week.
