Chris Davis (illness) not in Baltimore's lineup versus Yankees

Baltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis (illness) is not in Sunday's lineup against the New York Yankees.

What It Means:

Orioles manager Buck Showalter is hopeful that Davis will be available off the bench. Trey Mancini will cover first base while Anthony Santander moves to left field and Craig Gentry draws the start in right for Sunday's series finale against left-hander Jordan Montgomery and the Yankees.

Davis is averaging 4.7 FanDuel points per game this season. numberFire's models project him to bat .231 with 31 homers, 76 RBI, and 77 runs scored in 538 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
