Braves' Luiz Gohara (groin) headed for X-rays after spraining ankle at practice
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Luiz Gohara (groin) will undergo X-rays after spraining his left ankle on Friday.
Gohara, who has been sidelined with a groin injury, was scheduled to make his Grapefruit League debut Sunday, but now it looks like he might not even be ready by Opening Day. The Braves should provide an update on his status within a day or so.
Gohara went 1-3 in five starts last season while recording a 4.91 ERA and 1.36 WHIP across 29 1/3 innings.
