Marlins sign Cameron Maybin to one-year deal
The Miami Marlins have signed outfielder Cameron Maybin to a one-year deal, according to Tim Healey of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
The money involved has not yet be released. Everything is a done deal, though, with Maybin reporting to camp already. Maybin had previously played three seasons with the Marlins and, at 30, brings some valuable experience to a rebuilding franchise. He could very well start in center field while providing the versatility of a guy who can play all three outfield positions this season.
Maybin slashed .228/.318/.365 with 10 home runs, 35 RBI and 33 stolen bases in 2017.
