Indians' Michael Brantley (ankle) will be on the roster for ALDS

Cleveland Indians outfielder Michael Brantley is on the team's roster for this week's American League Division Series.

What It Means:

According to MLB.com's Jordan Bastian, Brantley will mostly be available as a pinch-hitter after returning from an ankle injury just a few days ago. He could return to the field later on in the postseason, but for now we should expect Jason Kipnis, Jay Brice and the combination of Lonnie Chisenhall and Austin Jackson to serve as the starting outfielders for Cleveland.

Over 90 games and 375 plate appearances, Brantley has hit 9 home runs with a .342 wOBA and an average of 10.5 FanDuel points per game. He has tallied just 1 hit in 3 pinch-hitting opportunities this season.
