Adam Lind out of Brewers' lineup Wednesday
Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Adam Lind is out of the lineup Wednesday as the Brewers face the St. Louis Cardinals.
This is a platoon situation for Lind as the Brewers face lefty Jaime Garcia. Jason Rogers will get the start at first base and bat fifth. Khris Davis slides up into the four hole for the day.
Garcia holds a 3.50 xFIP against righties, and Rogers has had success against lefties in a small sample size for his career. Over 78 plate appearances, Rogers has a 44.2 percent hard-hit rate. Still, our projections see Rogers as the fourth lowest producing first baseman on FanDuel for Wednesday's slate.
