Ryan Zimmerman sitting out Friday for Nationals
Washington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman is not in the lineup on Friday against the New York Mets.
The Nats are giving most of their starters the night off Friday, so Adam Lind is taking over first base for Zimmerman and hitting cleanup against right-hander Rob Gsellman.
Our models project Zimmerman for a .273 batting average, with 2 home runs, 5 RBI, and 5 runs scored over 37 plate appearances remaining this season.
