Starling Marte still not in Pirates' lineup against Reds
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Starling Marte is still out of the lineup on Saturday against the Cincinnati Reds.
Marte has now missed the last two games, but there has been no word of an injury, so it could be the Pirates just getting their young guys some reps in a meaningless game. Jordan Luplow is still in left field and hitting second Saturday against right-hander Sal Romano.
Our models project Marte for a .276 batting average, with 2 RBI, 4 runs scored, and 2 steals over 32 plate appearances remaining this season.
