Dylan Bundy fans 12 in Orioles' Tuesday win
Baltimore Orioles pitcher Dylan Bundy struck out 12 batters in a one-hit shutout of the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday night.
In a complete-game effort, Bundy walked just two while totaling a career-best in strikeouts. He is now 13-8 on the year and has struck out 7.94 hitters per 9 innings across 25 starts.
With a 4-0 record, 2.29 FIP and 45 strikeouts in 5 starts, Bundy has been a new-and-improved pitcher in the month of August. Accordingly, our models project him to go 3-2 with 29 strikeouts in 35-plus innings the rest of the way this season.
