Ryan Hanigan (virus) scratched from Rockies' lineup on Thursday
Colorado Rockies catcher Ryan Hanigan has been scratched from Thursday's lineup against the Atlanta Braves due to a stomach virus.
Jonathan Lucroy will now start at catcher and bat fifth versus Braves right-hander Lucas Sims. Trevor Story, Ryan McMahon, and Alexi Amarista will each move down a spot in the Rockies' order, to sixth, seventh, and eighth, respectively.
numberFire's models project Hanigan to record a .206 batting average in just 38 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
