Abraham Almonte starting for Indians on Monday

Cleveland Indians outfielder Abraham Almonte is starting on Monday against the Boston Red Sox.

What It Means:

Almonte will start in left field and bat eighth versus Red Sox right-hander Doug Fister. He's gone just 2-for-15 (.133) in five games since being recalled from Triple-A Columbus, and both of those hits came in the same game. Austin Jackson will be available off the bench after getting the start in left on Sunday.

Fister owns an inviting 10.7 walk percent this season, and the Indians have an attractive implied total (5.0 runs) in a batter-friendly matchup (10.0 over/under, 1.082 park factor) on Monday, so their lineup carries some upside for fantasy owners. numberFire's models project Almonte to score 8.0 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,100.
