Nationals' Adrian Sanchez will get a breather Friday
Washington Nationals second/third baseman Adrian Sanchez is not in the lineup tonight as the Nats welcome the San Francisco Giants.
Sanchez took full advantage of getting starts at second and third base over the last three games, going 6-for-10 with 3 doubles and 3 runs scored. However, with Anthony Rendon back in action at third base and Daniel Murphy healthy, Sanchez will begin Friday's game on the bench.
Our models project Sanchez for only a .200 average with 1 RBI and 1 run scored over 16 plate appearances remaining this season. However, if he continues to play well when given the opportunity, he will surely get more than 16 plate appearances over the last seven weeks.
