Tigers' Michael Fulmer (elbow) could return next week
Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmas said that pitcher Michael Fulmer could make his next scheduled start on Tuesday in Texas, per MLive Media Group's Evan Woodbery.
Fulmer's spot will next come up against the Texas Rangers on Tuesday in Arlington. However, he's been out since August 3rd with ulnar neuritis in his throwing elbow. Nothing is certain, but there should be more to come on Fulmer in the next few days.
Fulmer would be a welcome sight for Detroit as he leads all Tigers starters with a 3.3 WAR and 3.43 FIP in 21 starts.
