Yankees' Clint Frazier (oblique) scheduled for MRI on Thursday

New York Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier is scheduled for an MRI on his injured oblique Thursday, according to Newsday's Erik Boland.

What It Means:

Frazier was a late scratch from Wednesday night's lineup due to tightness in his oblique. Although he and the Yankees don't find the injury too concerning, they will send him for tests nonetheless. No matter when he returns, Frazier might find himself out of a roster spot as Aaron Hicks (oblique) gets set to return for New York.

While Frazier sports a solid .321 wOBA on the season, he has just a .224 wOBA with 8 whiffs in his last 18 plate appearances. Over 51 plate appearances, we project him for 2 home runs, 3 doubles and 6 RBI the rest of the way.
