Cleveland's Michael Brantley (ankle) makes early exit Tuesday

Cleveland Indians outfielder Michael Brantley left Tuesday's game early with a sprained right ankle.

What It Means:

Brantley hurt himself while chasing down a fly ball in the outfield in the fifth inning. He immediately left the game, being replaced in the field and lineup by Abraham Almonte. He is considered day-to-day but could face another DL stint if his ankle swells up overnight.

Brantley has hit .299 with a .345 wOBA and 9 home runs, 11 steals, and 52 RBI in 372 plate appearances so far this season.
