Josh Bell is out of the Pirates' Tuesday lineup
Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Josh Bell is out of the lineup versus the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday.
The Tigers are starting southpaw Matthew Boyd on Tuesday, and with Bell hitting just .228 versus lefties this season, the Pirates will start Jose Osuna at first base while giving Bell the night off.
Bell has hit 19 homers with a .342 wOBA, so far this year and out models project him for 6 more home runs with 24 RBI and 23 runs scored the rest of the 2017 season.
