Washington Nationals outfielder Howie Kendrick is not in the starting lineup on Saturday.
What It Means:
Kendrick tends to start in left field, but Adam Lind is a lefty bat and therefore the better matchup against the right-handed pitcher on the mound. Lind slides into left field today, while Ryan Zimmerman returns to the order at first base.
