Tigers activate Kyle Lobstein, tab him to start Friday
Detroit Tigers' pitcher Kyle Lobstein has been activated from the 60-day disabled list.
Lobstein, a lefty, will return to the Tigers' rotation on Friday night against the Cleveland Indians after missing over three months with a left shoulder injury. The southpaw owns a 4.34 ERA in 87 career major league frames.
In 47 2/3 innings before his injury, Lobstein posted a 4.12 FIP while only fanning 3.78 hitters per nine innings. Cleveland has scored the seventh-most runs off left-handed pitching.
