Kansas City looking to add starting pitcher via Toronto
The Kansas City Royals are talking to the Toronto Blue Jays about pitchers J.A. Happ and Marco Estrada, according to USA Today's Bob Nightengale.
SB Nation's Chris Cotillo has said that the Royals have shown interest in Estrada "for weeks." As to which pitcher they land, if any, that might come down to Kansas City's preference between a right-handed or left-handed arm.
While Happ has gone 3-8 with a 4.74 FIP this season, Estrada has posted a 4-7 record and 4.51 FIP in 21 starts.
