Toronto places Troy Tulowitzki on DL
The Toronto Blue Jays have placed shortstop Troy Tulowitzki on the 10-day disabled list with a right ankle injury.
After suffering the injury in last night's loss to the Los Angeles Angels, Tulowitzki will go for an MRI today in order to find out the severity of the injury. In the meantime, Ryan Goins and Darwin Barney will fill in for him at short.
Tulowitzki has 7 home runs and a .295 wOBA on the year. He's played in just 66 of the Blue Jays' 103 games this season.
