Addison Russell returns to Cubs' lineup Tuesday afternoon
Chicago Cubs shortstop Addison Russell is starting on Tuesday versus the Chicago White Sox.
Russell struck out in a pit-hit appearance on Monday, but he's back in the starting lineup and batting sixth for Tuesday's matinée against left-hander Carlos Rodon and the White Sox. Javier Baez is starting at second base, Ben Zobrist is in right field, and Jason Heyward will grab a seat on the Cubs' bench.
The heavily-favored Cubs have a solid implied total (4.93) and Rodon has a penchant for walking batters this season (16.3 percent), so their lineup offers plenty of upside on Tuesday afternoon. numberFire's models project Almora to score 8.3 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,400 for the inner-city matchup.
