Ryon Healy (head) still out for Athletics on Sunday
Oakland Athletics infielder/designated hitter Ryon Healy remains out on Sunday versus the New York Mets.
Healy is out for a second consecutive game after he took a grounder to the head off a bad hop on Friday. He was available as a pinch-hitter on Saturday and would likely be starting at designated hitter this afternoon if the Athletics were playing under American League rules. The 25-year-old sophomore is slashing .264/.298/.483 with 19 homers and 55 RBI this season.
For the rest of the year, numberFire's models project Healy for 10 home runs, 31 RBI, and a .279 batting average in 225 remaining plate appearances.
