Howie Kendrick

Phillies activate Howie Kendrick (hamstring) from DL

The Philadelphia Phillies have activated utility player Howie Kendrick from the 10-day disabled list.

What It Means:

Kendrick was dealing with a hamstring injury, but, after one rehab start, he's back in the bigs. He is, however, absent from Friday night's lineup, which probably just speaks to the Phillies' intentions of moving the 34-year-old prior to the July 31st deadline.

In 139 plate appearances, Kendrick has produced 2 home runs and 14 RBI with a .389 wOBA so far this season. Our models project him for 1 more homer, 10 RBI and 15 runs the rest of the season.
