J.D. Martinez making Diamondbacks debut, batting fifth on Wednesday
Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder J.D. Martinez will make his first start as a member of the club against the Cincinnati Reds Wednesday night.
Acquired via a trade with the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday night, Martinez will slide into the fifth spot in tonight's lineup as he mans right field. His presence sends Daniel Descalso to the Arizona bench.
Martinez sports a .419 wOBA along with 3 home runs and 10 RBI in the month of July to date. At a price of $4,000, he's projected for 15.2 FanDuel points this evening.
