Alex Meyer to start Wednesday's game for Angels
Los Angeles Angels pitcher Alex Meyer will start Wednesday night's game versus the Washington Nationals, according to the Times' Pedro Moura.
The Angels optioned Meyer to Triple-A Salt Lake on July 4th. The right-hander will make his return just over two weeks later as he stares down one of the best offenses in baseball.
In 5 starts in the minors, Meyer went 0-1 with a 6.00 ERA and .303 average against.
