Royals' Salvador Perez starting, hitting fifth on Friday
Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez is in the starting lineup and hitting fifth on Friday as the Royals host the Texas Rangers.
Prior to the break, Perez was spelled by backup Drew Butera. But after five days of rest he'll be back behind the plate, hitting fifth opposite lefty Martin Perez.
Perez has smashed lefties to the tune of a .294/.330/.529 triple slash and 6 home runs in 91 plate appearances. We project him for 10.5 FanDuel points at a cost of $3,500 in tonight's matchup.
