Indians placing Lonnie Chisenhall (calf) on disabled list
The Cleveland Indians are placing third baseman/outfielder Lonnie Chisenhall on the 10-day disabled list with a right calf strain.
Chisenhall suffered the injury on Sunday against the Detroit Tigers and will be officially moved to the DL prior to Friday night's contest against the Oakland Athletics. Tyler Naquin and Austin Jackson will step in for him during his absence.
In 216 plate appearances, Chisenhall has racked up 12 home runs and 51 RBI with a .397 wOBA in 2017. numberFire projects him for 6 homers and 26 RBI over the remainder of the season.
