Mets' Matt Harvey (shoulder) to resume throwing after the All-Star break
New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey (shoulder) will resume a throwing program after the All-Star break.
Harvey was placed on the disabled list with a right shoulder injury on June 16, and it has since been discovered that the muscles in his right shoulder severely atrophied after his thoracic outlet surgery. Harvey isn't expected to return to the Mets' rotation until August.
numberFire's models project Harvey for a 4.74 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 16.0% strikeout rate in 36 innings over the remainder of the season.
