Tampa Bay Rays third baseman/designated hitter Trevor Plouffe is not starting against the Boston Red Sox on Saturday.
What It Means:
With Plouffe out, Evan Longoria is at third base for Tampa Bay and Corey Dickerson is taking care of DH duties while Shane Peterson will step in at left field for the Rays. The Red Sox are sending right-hander Rick Porcello the hill.
