Blue Jays move Steve Pearce up to fifth on Friday night
Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Steve Pearce will hit fifth on Friday night versus the Houston Astros.
Pearce went 1-for-3 with a RBI and a walk on Thursday out of the seven-hole, but he'll bat fifth tonight opposite Astros left-hander Charlie Morton. Josh Donaldson, Justin Smoak, and Kendrys Morales have all been bumped up a spot in the order.
numberFire's models project Pearce to score only 7.0 FanDuel points at a cost of $2,600 on Friday. That's not a great return, but the Blue Jays should benefit from a 1.043 park factor in Toronto, so perhaps he's worth a look.
