Rougned Odor leaves Rangers' win with bruised hand

Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor was lifted from Wednesday's game against the Boston Red Sox due to a bruised left hand.

What It Means:

X-rays came back negative after Odor was hit in the left hand in the fifth inning. Consider him day-to-day moving forward. The 23-year-old second baseman went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in the bottom of the second before being forced out early. He's slashing .216/.257/.404 with 16 homers, 38 RBI, and 9 steals in 354 plate appearances (85 games) this season.

Without accounting for any sort of potential extended absence, numberFire's models project Odor for a .258 batting average with 12 home runs, 39 RBI, and 7 steals in 296 plate appearances over the remainder of the year.
