Mets' Jose Reyes leading off against Nationals
New York Mets shortstop Jose Reyes is batting leadoff against the Washington Nationals on Monday.
Reyes hit out of the seven-spot on Sunday and has been nearer the bottom of the order all season, so this is new. Reyes holds just a .588 OPS against right-handed pitchers in 2017, however, and Brandon Nimmo (who moved down to eighth in the order) is much better against righties. Reyes has also been decimated by Washington starter Stephen Strasburg: in 28 career plate appearances, Reyes has a .567 OPS against Stras.
Our models project Reyes for 8.4 FanDuel points at a salary of $2,300 on Monday.
