Cubs' Jon Jay not playing versus the Nationals on Monday
Chicago Cubs outfielder Jon Jay is not in the lineup Monday versus the Washington Nationals.
What It Means:
The lefty-swinging Jay is getting a day off as the Cubs will face southpaw Gio Gonzalez on Monday. Kris Bryant will shift from right to left field while Mark Zagunis gets the start in right.
For the rest of the season, our models project Jay for a .288 batting average and 21 runs scored.
