Asdrubal Cabrera

Mets' Asdrubal Cabrera (thumb) activated from DL, starting on Friday

The New York Mets have activated infielder Asdrubal Cabrera (thumb) from the 10-day DL and are starting him at second base on Friday.

What It Means:

Cabrera has been out since June 12 with soreness in his thumb. He will play at second base for the first since 2014 and bat second versus the San Francisco Giants. Gavin Cecchini, who had been playing at second base, was sent down to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Our models project Cabrera for 10.6 FanDuel points at a $4,500 price tag Friday night.
