Nationals say Anthony Rendon is day-to-day with neck injury
Washington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon was lifted from Monday's game against the Miami Marlins with a stinger in his neck area.
Rendon hurt himself on a diving play at third base and was lifted shortly after. He homered on Monday before departing though, so it was by no means a bust day for those who rostered Rendon in DFS. Stephen Drew came in on Monday and he could enter the lineup while Rendon is out.
Assuming he doesn't need a trip to the disabled list, our models project Rendon for a .288 average with 12 home runs and 48 RBI over 346 plate appearances remaining this season.
