Corey Kluber shuts out Orioles in complete game win for Indians

Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Corey Kluber struck out 11 in a complete-game shutout against the Baltimore Orioles on Monday.

What It Means:

Kluber only needed 108 pitches to get through the O's lineup on Monday in easily the best pitching performance from the night. He didn't allow a walk and only gave up three hits (all singles) for his fifth career shutout.

Our models project Kluber for a 3.44 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with 110 strikeouts over 110 innings remaining this season.
