San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey (ankle) is out of the lineup on Friday night.
What It Means:
Posey tweaked his ankle while hitting a home run on Thursday and needs a day off to rest. Nick Hundley is filling in for him behind the plate on Friday. Posey plans to return to the lineup on Saturday.
Posey has been crushing this year, slashing .356/.440/.545 with 9 home runs and 25 RBI in 234 plate appearances this season.
