Yoenis Cespedes not in Mets' starting lineup
New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes is not in Wednesday's starting lineup.
Cespedes was pulled early from Tuesday's blowout loss, likely since he wasn't needed and the team didn't want to risk exacerbating his left heel tendinitis. He may be resting due to that injury today. Curtis Granderson is manning left in his stead.
Our models project Cespedes to hit .278 with 11 homers, 29 runs, and 36 RBI in 22 more plate appearances in 2017.
