Yankees' Didi Gregorius extends hitting streak to 15 games

New York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius finished 1-for-5 with a double in the 11th inning Tuesday against the Los Angeles Angels to extend his hitting streak to 15 games.

What It Means:

Even though he needed extra innings to do it, Gregorius owns the league's longest active hit streak. Only three players have posted a longer hitting streak this season and Gregorius is now four behind tying the 19 mark set by Kansas City Royals second baseman Whit Merrifield last month.

Gregorius is having an outstanding season so far with a .368 wOBA, 6 home runs and 25 RBI over 175 plate appearances. Our models project him for 10.1 FanDuel points on Wednesday against Matt Shoemaker and the Los Angeles Angels. He will cost you $3,500 in salary.
