Anthony Rizzo batting leadoff for the Cubs on Tuesday
Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo will bat leadoff against the New York Mets on Tuesday.
This will be Rizzo's first crack at batting leadoff this season, having spent 53 of his games batting out of the three-hole and the other 9 batting cleanup. Jon Jay, who led off against the Mets on Monday, is out of the lineup today.
Rizzo also draws a solid matchup today, taking on Mets' righty Zack Wheeler, who has a 4.40 SIERA on the year. Rizzo has a .356 wOBA on a 32.0% hard-hit rate against right-handed pitching this season, and bringing those numbers into the leadoff spot gives him some solid value in fantasy.
