Luis Valbuena in the Angels' lineup, batting fourth
Los Angeles Angels infielder Luis Valbuena is starting at third base Sunday at the Houston Astros.
Valbuena sat yesterday as C.J. Cron took his spot at first, but he's in the lineup today and playing across the diamond. Yunel Escobar is heading to the bench as a result.
The Halos have a tough matchup versus top prospect David Paulino. The Astros' righty has flashed big-time stuff in his limited MLB career, putting up a 27.9% strikeout rate with a 12.9% swinging-strike rate. With that said, the Angels have a decent 4.11 implied total, and Valbuena is a cleanup stick priced at $2,500 on FanDuel. His 45.3% fly-ball rate gives him a chance to run into one, but that's something he's only done three times in 119 plate appearances in 2017.
