Tigers' Buck Farmer impresses in Wednesday's victory
Detroit Tigers pitcher Buck Farmer spun 6 2/3 scoreless innings in a 4-0 win over the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday.
Farmer was called up from the minors to make this start, his second of the season, and he has gone scoreless through six-plus innings in both of his major league games in 2017.
Farmer has been nasty this season, with a 0.00 ERA, 2.70 SIERA, 34.8 percent strikeout rate and 0.69 WHIP through those two outings.
