Gerardo Parra (quad) not in the Rockies' lineup Wednesday
Colorado Rockies outfielder Gerardo Parra (quad) is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's game against the Cleveland Indians.
What It Means:
This comes as no surprise, as Parra is going to be placed on the disabled list after making an early exit with a quad injury on Tuesday. He will be replaced in left field by Ian Desmond, who will bat sixth against Cleveland righty Trevor Bauer.
Parra has opened 2017 slashing .318/.348/.480 with a .353 wOBA through 49 games (158 plate appearances).
