Phillies' Freddy Galvis homers twice in victory

Philadelphia Phillies infielder Freddy Galvis homered from each side of the plate, powering a come-from-behind win over the San Francisco Giants on Sunday.

What It Means:

Galvis blasted a two-run homer off of San Francisco starter Matt Moore in the second inning, then capped off his game with a solo homer in the eighth. Galvis became the first Phillies player to homer from both sides of the plate since former shortstop Jimmy Rollins in 2011. He finished the afternoon going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBI.

Galvis is hitting .241/.292/.424, adding 6 homers, 20 runs, 28 RBI's, and 3 stolen bases on the season.
