Jayson Werth pulled from Washington's game due to foot contusion
Washington Nationals right fielder Jayson Werth was pulled from Saturday's game against the Oakland Athletics after fouling a ball off his left foot.
Werth finished the at bat after fouling the ball off his foot and ended up singling to right field. However, Wilmer Difo entered the game as a pinch runner. Consider Werth day-to-day for now.
Werth owns a .353 wOBA with eight homers, 18 RBI's and 28 runs scored over 196 plate appearances in 2017.
